Assembled Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Acorn Pattern Flatware Service Designed by Johan Rohde in 1915, circa 1933-44 Comprising twelve dinner forks, twelve fish forks, twelve lunch forks, twelve dessert forks, twelve pastry forks, twelve dinner knives, twelve lunch knives, twelve fish knives, twelve butter knives, twelve tablespoons; twelve dessert spoons, twelve teaspoons, salad serving set, three serving spoons, serving fork, sugar tongs and three nut crackers. Total approximately 200 ounces, weighable. C
Each utensil and serving piece appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition, with the following exception: one of the fish forks has a very small nick to the outer side of one of its outer tines; typical scratch marks, commensurate with age and use, not of any consequence; no apparent monograms; dinner forks are stamped with GI mark and import marks; lunch forks are stamped with GJ (in square); dessert forks are stamped with GI mark and with import marks; pastry forks are stamped with GJ (in square) and import marks; blades on all dinner knives are marked GEORG JENSEN COPENHAGEN and STAINLESS STEEL; blades on lunch knives are all marked FRANK COBB SHEFFIELD ENGLAND and STAINLESS STEEL (on opposite side); handles on dinner knives and lunch knives are stamped GJ and 925.S; handles on fish knives are stamped GJ (in square) and DENMARK STERLING; the dinner knives and lunch knives are stamped with import marks; butter knives are stamped GJ (in circle) and with import marks, IMPORTE DE DANEMARK; tablespoons, dessert spoons and teaspoons are stamped GI and with import marks; total pieces (154).
