Beschreibung:

Arman French, 1928-2005 Untitled (Accumulation of Toy Cars) French, 1928-2005 Untitled (Accumulation of Toy Cars) Signed Arman (lr) Lucite, resin, and toy cars 24 x 14 x 5 inches (61 x 35.6 x 12.7 cm) Provenance: Marisa del Re Gallery, Inc., New York Citibank, New York Acquired from the above by the present owner C
Two small scratches on front sheet of plexiglass. Striations in the resin at upper front and back, as well as along sides. These striations seem to be at the surface of the resin where it makes contact with the plexiglass sheets. The paint on some of the toy cars is blistering, (this occured from solvents in the resin and seems to be stable). Small pieces of brown paper at the top edge where the plexiglass is joined. This sculpture is signed but not numbered. Editions of this work are known, but varied information indicates that more than one edition exists. we expect this is from an edition but have not established the size or context. We can circa date the casting as 1989.
