7.7x58mm caliber. 26" barrel length. SN: 20842. Bolt action Japanese last ditch rifle with fixed rear aperture and front blade sights. Item displays a blued metal finish with two piece semi-pistol grip stock and wood buttplate. The serial numbers of the bolt and receiver do not match. Bolt is of last ditch design with single direction knurling present. Receiver features "{Toyo Kogyo}" factory, "{Thirty-fifth Series}", and chrysanthemum markings. Item has no cleaning rod or dustcover but does retain sling swivels. Condition: Good. Bore is dark with patches of rust in grooves. Metal finish shows cycling wear and an overall brown patina. Barrel retains bluing and has spots of patina over its length. Stock finish is rough with signs of additional handling mars and scratches. Chip in seam of stock on right side along with a series of scatch marks. Upper and forward handguard are loose.
