Title, 3 page letterpress list of plates, suite of 100 engraved plates printed from the original blocks and signed by Moser housed in a cloth folder with addtional 10 original ink drawings on onionskin paper, each signed by Moser and matted in second cloth folder. Black quarter morocco and cloth clamshell case with the whale stamped in blind on upper cover. Condition: Light rubbing to case. number 17 from an edition of only 30 extra suites of plates printed by Glenn Todd. A worthy peer to Rockwell Kent’s illustrated edition of Moby Dick , the Arion Press issued their limited edition with the striking Moser illustrations in 1979 in an edition of only 250 copies.
