Greenwood started in vaudeville and starred on Broadway, and in many film and radio productions. Standing nearly six feet tall, she was well-known for her long legs and high kicks. She was, in her words, the "...only woman in the world who could kick a giraffe in the eye." Her best remembered role today is as Aunt Eller in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma. Seven of the photographs are inscribed by Greenwood, several others are signed in the negative. Lot Amendments Condition: Housed on photo album pages with adhesive on the mounts, removable with careful handling. Very good. Item number: 278173
