FIRST EDITION. –– A Monograph of the Work of Mellor Meigs & Howe. New York: The Architectural Book Publishing Co., 1923. Folio. Numerous illustrations from photographs and plans. Later cloth gilt. Provenance: JAMES GAMBLE ROGERS’ COPY (stamps on title–page and pastedown). A notable American architect, best known for his “Collegiate Gothic” architecture including commissions at Yale University, Columbia University, Northwestern University, and elsewhere. FIRST EDITION. –– MENDELSOHN, Erich. Amerika: Bilderbuch eines Architekten. Berlin: Rudolf Mosse Buchverlag, 1928. Folio. Numerous illustrations from photographs.
