London: Keagan, Trench, at al, 1885. Folio, original gilt-lettered burgundy cloth; panels in bright color but with evidence of damp to the front, back strip sunned and worn. With 34 hand-colored plates. The author dedicated this work to Anglican Cardinal John Henry Newman, and this particular copy is signed and inscribed by the latter on the half title. * 1 Vol. Wulff, O. and Volbach, W.F. Spatantike und Koptische Stoffe. Berlin: Wasmuth, 1926. 4to, original gilt-pictorial red cloth; shaken, joints loose, some fraying at upper back strip. 135 plates, the first 38 of which in color and mounted. Moderately worn exterior, contents mostly clean. * La Sculpture copte. Duthuit, Georges. Paris: Van Oest, 1931. Folio, green cloth; minor wear. With 72 photographic plates. Internally somewhat toned. * Millet, Gabriel. Daphni. Paris: Leroux, 1899. Folio, quarter pebbled green morocco and marbled boards; scuffed and bumped. With 19 plates in phototype. Contents mostly clean. * Butler, A.J. Islamic Pottery. London: Ernest Benn, 1926. Folio, later green cloth. 92 plates with original guards. Bottom and fore-edges untrimmed. Clean. All ex-library: sold with all faults, which may include perforated stamps to title pages, accession numbers ink-stamped at foot of prefaces or dedication pages, institutional bookplates on pastedowns, etc. Edges may be prone to brittleness, caveat emptor. Plates free of library markings unless indicated.
