circa 1800 Very similar to the previous lot, the front panel painted in the manner of John Wood with Orpheus and Euridice, the youthful Orpheus holding his lyre in one hand and leading Euridice with his other hand out of the mouth of Hades, Cupid leading the way with a flaming torch, the reverse of the cup and the borders of the cover and stand in rich orange and formal gilded patterns, 11.5cm high overall, marked in gold with the title of the subject and Chamberlains Worcester (one handle and the ring finial cleanly restuck, very minor wear to gilding only) (3)
