There is a chart of the persons and their reason for being there on page 7. Five are children (one discharged during the year), three just list old age and another, generic "infirmity" and one "debility." Three are blind, one each is listed with syphilis, a fractured leg, paralysis, deformity and epilepsy. The last four are "idiotic." Another is unknown, since it has ditto under child, but the age is 39. As is all too often the case, the hospital needed more funds to continue operation and pay contractors. Condition: Fold on front wrap with toning along fold. General light handling wear. Both wraps with surface soil.
