"The Bed 4550, entirely made of polyester, was created by the architects Castelli Ferrieri and Gardella in order to create a suitable bed furnishing for a Residence of Grandi Alberghi Company, which they were projecting in 1972. For Kartell it was a great possibility to use its own systems for the production of a primary movable that would enrich the collection furnishings, still in the phase of initial takeoff.
