ANGLO-SAXON GOLD RING OF AEDELFLED 10th century AD A substantial flat-section gold hoop with niello-filled borders and owner's inscription in Insular script '+ÆDELFLED+MIE+Ah' (for Æðelflæd me ah 'Æ. owns me'). 6.83 grams, 22mm overall, 17.00 x 19.13mm internal diameter (approximate size British S, USA 9, Europe 20.0, Japan 19) (1").
