ANGLO-SAXON GILT BRONZE SAUCER BROOCH Circa 6th-7th century AD. A cast gilt-bronze saucer brooch with domed central boss and five-point radiating star motif within a bilinear border; the flange deep and the rim complete; on the reverse the pin lug and catchplate intact. Gilt bronze, 33 grams, 52 mm. Very fine condition. Provenance Found Gloucestershire, UK. Literature Cf.
