'Andrew Sandham (Surrey and All England). A souvenir book published in their Majesties' Silver Jubilee Year 1935'. Official 'A. Sandham's Souvenir Benefit souvenir' brochure for the Surrey v Kent match played at The Oval on 27th to 30th July 1935. Nicely signed in ink by Sandham to frontispiece photograph. Also signed to one side of rear autographs page by thirteen members of the Surrey team, and to the other side by ten Kent players. Surrey signatures include Holmes (Captain), Brooks, Squires, Gover, Barling, Garland-Wells, Gregory, Fishlock, Watts, Sandham etc. Kent signatures are Chapman (Captain), Marriott, Woolley, Ames, Ashdown, Fagg, Freeman, Todd, Valentine and Sunnucks. Original wrappers. Loss to rear wrapper, wear to front cover and spine, loss to some internal pages. In fragile condition
Kent won the County Championship match by ten wickets, Woolley scoring 229 and Fagg 111 in their first innings. Sandham scored 47 and 93 in Surrey's two innings. Freeman took nine wickets for Kent in the match
