Lot of 3. Two printed tickets on heavy cardstock (pink with green writing and yellow with brown) to view the first ever impeachment trial for President Andrew Johnson. Both are for gallery seats in the Senate on May 2, 1868 and May 16, 1868 and measure 3.5 x 3.5 in. Also included is an addressed envelope to Captain John C. Parker on Navy Department stationary postmarked in Washington on December 30, 1911, pasted on the reverse is another main entrance ticket for the same event marked 281, measuring 1.25 x 3 in. Provenance: Descended in the Family of Edward Parke Custis Lewis Condition: All are in good condition with some fading of the ink. All have been pasted and have residual paper from previously being in a scrap book.
