Provenance Johann Peter Maria Cerroni (1753-1826), Brünn/ Brno, Moravia (Lugt 1432); his posthumous sale, Artaria, Vienna, 20 October 1828, lot 107 (probably to Fitchett). John Fitchett Marsh (1818-1880), Wigan, Lancashire (Lugt 1455); presumably by acquired descent from his uncle; probably his sale, Sotheby's, London, 23-24 May 1882.
