ANATOLY BRUSILOVSKYb.1932TWO SURREAL FIGURES [2] each signed in Cyrillic l.r., one dated 67, the other 68ink on red paperEach sheet: 13¼ by 9½in., 33.5 by 24cmEach framed: 20 by 16½in., 51 by 42cmCondition ReportMale Figure:There is general wear to the edges and corners and light creasing to the top and bottom edges. There is a scored line below the signature. The sheet has faded slightly in line with age. There is a very faint stain to the left of the whip by the left edge and another small stain by the upper right corner, other faint staining is visible elsewhere. The remnants of an old adhesive are visible along the top and bottom edges on the reverse. The sheet is hinged to the mount in two places at the top edge. Female Figure:The left edge of the sheet is slightly uneven. There is general wear and tear to the edges and corners and faint creasing to places at the edges, most notably underneath the signature. The sheet has faded slightly in line with age. There are a few minor scattered stains: to the left of the sitter's knee and in the two bottom corners. The remnants of an old adhesive are visible along the top and bottom edges on the reverse. The sheet is hinged to the mount in two places at the top edge.
