Comprising; an oak box with typed label 'Bronze Pins And Needles Found in Tel Hawwata (Near Scechem) - Thought to be early Egyptian who were amongst the first people making pins', containing a group of fifteen excavated bronze needles and bodkins of large size, some decorated, largest 17.2cm, a plastic box with two needles and a fragment, labelled 'Excavated Roman Site, Mantz, France', largest 10cm, a cardboard box with glass cover, containing bronze and bone pins and needles and other items with typed label 'Hand-made pins, bone bodkins and two fragments of glass (apparently lacking found in sheep drain, Irvine', with handwritten notes on early pins and needles, and related literature, together with a large single bronze bodkin, assumed to be from the Egyptian group, 20.4cm, and a single bronze needle, 14.2cm, with remnants of a typed label for the Mantz group, with associated handwritten notes and literature.
