[12], 960, [34]; [16], 727, [13], [6], 208, [4]; [6], 518, [10], [6], 464, [18] pp. Indexed. Title pages in black and red. (Folio) 37x23 (14½x9½") period full calf with modern brown cloth rebacking. Second Edition. History of the world to the reign of Constantine. The final two parts pear the imprint "Printed for the author's widow by Miles Flesher." Rubberstamp of the Royal Institution of Great Britain on the title page of each volume. First published in a single folio volume in 1661, this second edition is, in effect, a new work. Lot Amendments Condition: Boards worn; some foxing; very good. Item number: 263302
