Of circular form, ornately embossed in high relief with four equally spaced panels depicting various hunting scenes with Indian and British huntsmen, lions and tigers enclosed within a foliate acanthus scroll borders, the bowl supported on a raised circular foot decorated with a wide band of acanthus leaves set in high relief. Mark of 'Heerappa Boochena', situated in Poona, India. 8.2 in (20.9 cm) diameter. Weight: 1360 grams.
