The rectangular silver lined iron box and over fitting lid with radiused corners inlaid with an allover pattern of dense foliage and blossoms of inlaid two-tone gold with silver blossom accents below the cover with a silver panel finely tooled and sculpted in high relief with the figure of a Buddhist saint with gilt halo arranging exotic flowers, the iron border inlaid with eight polychrome enameled silver rosettes. Apparently unmarked, length 4.25 inches, width 3.25 inches, height 2 inches (10.7 x 8.2 x 5 cm), weight 19.6 ounces.
