United States Van Ryper, Martha's Vineyard, MA. circa 1960 built for the United States Lines, with red and white painted waterline, black and white topsides, pierced portholes and windows, painted green decks, and fitted with: anchors, bollards, deck railings, winches, hatches, cargo booms, ladders, bridge and bridge wings, main mast, two raked funnels in U.S. Lines livery, life boats on davits, court lines and numerous other details. Mounted on a blue painted base board with original builder plaque and an engraved brass name plaque with ship details. Displayed in a steel framed glass case on a mahogany stand 49 x 81½ in. (124.4 x 212.1 cm.)
