Deveau a large scale waterline model, the hull built up in wood with a read and white waterline, black and white topsides with the name painted on either side of the bow and stern, windows and port holes, decks finished in scored veneer, and detailed with: anchors, bollards, ventilators, capstans, ladders, deck railings, masts with standing and running rigging, cargo booms, bridge and bridge wings, antennae, life boats on davits, funnels painted in Cunard livery, pool, umbrellas, jack and flag staffs, and numerous other details.
