AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE PLAQUE DYNASTY XIX, REIGN OF RAMESSES II, 1279-1212 B.C. With the cartouche of Ramesses II, 2 x 1 in. (5.1 x ¾ cm.); a bone cylinder seal, with seven incised columns of rudimentary hieroglyphs, probably 3rd millennium B.C., 1 1/8 in. (3 cm.) high; a steatite oval button seal, reverse two reclining dogs; a hardstone square button seal, rev. ibex and lizard, both Late Old Kingdom-First Intermediate Period, 2553-2040 B.C., 1 in. (1.9 cm.) long; a fragmentary steatite cylinder seal, Middle Kingdom, 2133-1797 B.C.; a clay seal impression, New Kingdom, 1550-1070 B.C., 1¼ in. (3.3 cm.) high; a wooden stamp seal of Ta-di-ra, with two feathers above, cobra below, Late Period, 664-332 B.C., 2 5/8 in. (6.6 cm.) long; a large glazed frit barrel-shaped Kushite 'eye' bead, inscribed Nefer-ka-ra, Shabaka, Dynasty XXV, 716-702 B.C., 1½ in.
