AN EDWARD VII SILVER TOASTING-FORK OF GEORGIAN STYLE MARK OF SEBASTIAN GARRARD, LONDON, 1903 The turned wood handle applied with a central band with an inscription, further engraved with with an initial 'A' below a viscount's coronet, with a hinged silver toasting fork at the end 33½ in. (85 cm.) long The inscription reads ' 'To Jack, from Alice Hillingdon' and perhaps relates to Albert Edward John Spencer Viscount Althorp and later 7th Earl Spencer (1892-1975) and Alice Marion Mills, Lady Hillingdon (1860-1940).
