An early 19th century West Country Friendly brass stave head, Evercreech, on later mahogany plinth, overall 27.5cm high. Evercreech Friendly Society was founded circa 1798 and disbanded in 1905. A large order of brass stave heads was made for the club by Blinman's of Bristol in the early 19th century. Blinman is recorded as bankrupt in 1830
