An early 18th century walnut chest on stand with cushion frieze drawer over two short and three graduated long drawers, on stand with long drawer, arched apron and barley twist underframe, 101cm wide, 57cm deep, 169cm high £400-600 Condition: Overall of a slightly faded mid to light brown walnut tone, one replaced section to the front veneered cornice, sides of the cornice are not veneered but made of solid wood, locks look original but no key present, handles are later replacements, stand almost certainly extensively rebuilt and in the main 19th century, a number of splits and cracks running down both sides where it appears to have been made from small sections of wood.
