An E & D Kinsey coin silver tea service Print Mid 19th century, Cincinnati, OH, maker's mark ''E & D Kinsey'' (Edward & David Kinsey), comprising: two teapots (each: 8.75'' H x 9.5'' W x 5.25''D); a milk jug (7''H x 4.5'' W x 4.5''D); a covered sugar bowl (7.75'' H x 8'' W x 5''D); and a waste bowl (5.5'' H x 5.5'' Dia.), each with a pear-shaped body repousse-decorated with flowers and C-scrolls, each monogrammed ''CEW'', 5 pieces, gross weight 92.9 oz troy tw approximately, together with an associated silver-plated hot water urn on stand with burner, unmarked (overall 15.25'' H x 10.5'' W x 9.5'' D), and an associated silver-plated tray, marked ''Rogers Bros. Mf * C.'' and ''German Silver'', engraved with inscription ''Lloyd and Charlotte / from / Father and Mother'' (1.5'' H x 31'' W x 20'' D); 7 pieces total, Provenance: Private Collection, Southern New Mexico. Condition: Overall good condition. General marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Rim of cover of urn and rim of foot of sugar bowl each slightly bent out of shape. A shallow ding to body of urn. One teapot with a small ding to body. Weight includes only the five coin silver pieces. Weight includes insulators. Monogrammed and inscribed, as stated.
