The moulded plank seat above a conforming frieze with foliate-carved aprons on turned slightly splayed legs joined by turned stretchers
35cm high, 216cm wide, 40cm deep
Condition Report:
Good, structurally secure and consistent colour, there are dents marks and scratches and shrinkage cracks due to age and use. Evidence of old woodworm, now inactive, some filled holes to the seat where knots have dropped out of the wood. Repairs and replacement to edge mouldings, eg right edge of frieze, the carved decoration possibly shortened to fit. That said the piece has a consistent look and is probably all of an age as opposed to being made up from `parts'.
