(8vo) period tree sheep, leather spine label. First Edition. Interesting narrative of shipwreck and captivity which went through several printings. Sabin 71397. This is the rare Hartford edition, one of two 1817 issues, the other published in New York. Condition: Wear to covers, some worming; offset and soiling within, lacking 2 plates and apparently a folding map; various early ownership markings; about very good.
