An Archaeological Revival gold panel bracelet, circa 1870, the six square panel links each with a round domed boss to the centre, with applied wirework decoration, each with a round glazed locket panel verso displaying a photograph of a Victorian child, with a smaller rectangular panel to one end, similarly decorated, in original purple velvet fitted case, interior silk signed ‘Catchpole and Williams, Oxford Street’, length 18cm. £1,200-£1,600 Condition Report In good condition, all detail present and correct, there is one small hole to the small dome at the corner of one panel. With original safety chain. Width 25mm. Gross weight 65gm. The case shows a little wear around the edges with one hole to the velvet exterior, and a few marks to the interior silk. Footnote Catchpole & Williams Ltd were well respected retailers of jewellery and silverwares in the late 19th to mid 20th century. They exhibited at the Franco-British Exhibition of 1908 and the 1910 Japan-British Exhibition.
