The 4 3/4 inch tapered brass barrel of three simple stages with sighted breech. Unmarked brass lockplate with steel cock, pane cover, spring and screws. Brass stock with ball butt and short, steel belthook. Steel French-style trigger. Steel ramrod. Condition: Very good. Showing scattered light marks, the fore-end with old repair and re-attachment of ramrod thimble. Steel parts with smooth dark patina showing some minor pitting. Mainspring fatigued. See Illustration
