American Gothic Revival Carved and Dark Stained Mahogany Pier Table John Needles, Baltimore, Maryland, circa 1845 The rectangular portor marble top with rounded corners, above an ogee and crenelated apron, raised on an openwork standard formed by arches and columnar supports continuing to a rectangular platform ending in bracket feet and casters, retains original stenciled paper label J. Needles. Height 29 inches, width 40 inches, depth 19 inches.
