A pierced fruit or bread basket with widely flaring rim composed of overlapping arches, the rim of S scrolls; C monogram for the Judge John Caldwell family of Cincinnati to whom it belonged, and on the bottom 1876 Dec. 28 1901. Whiting griffon mark and Sterling / 3870; 2"-2.5" high x 12" long x 9.5" across. Weight 10.29 ozt (320 g). Condition: Few spots on bottom; needs cleaning.
