CGC certified: Fine/VF (7.0). Off-white to white pages. Not cleaned and pressed. Cover: John Romita pencils and inks, Stan Goldberg colors. Story: Stan Lee and John Romita. Pencils: John Romita and Don Heck. Inks: Mike Esposito (credited as Mickey Dimeo). Lettering: Sam Rosen. GPAnalysis: A 7.0 sold for $101 in 7/22. JJJ sics Lord Kevin Plunder, a two-bit Tarzan knock-off called Ka-Zar, on the amnesiac wall-crawler. Luckily, Plunder blunders into a mixed-up Spidey just as he's about to unmask for JJJ, thwarting the apoplectic newshound. The story ends with Ka-Zar's feline friend Zabu knocking Spidey into Central Park Lake, restoring Spidey's memory and reminding readers why amnesia plots are the soggiest trope in fiction. Enjoying the Spidey Sale? Order a fully-illustrated softcover catalogue for 30 bucks. Only about 100 copies were printed and they're going fast.
