To include his silver gilt Ryder Medal for a golf match sponsored by Sam Ryder between the Metropolitan Police team and Herts professionals, hall marked Vaughtons 1931, boxed; his silver News of the World medal inscribed '1930 2nd Round', boxed and his 1920 Roehampton Cup medal, boxed; a silver 1910 trophy (4½ inches high) presented to Alec Herd, James Braid, J.H. Taylor and Harry Vardon after playing a 4 Ball Foursomes match at the opening of the 'New Golf Links Bulwell Hall Park', inscribed, hallmarked James Dixon Sheffield 1909, with plinth; a MoortownGolf Club Committee badge and a 1932 International Prince's badge with thistles together with a scarce autograph paste-down in a copy of Herd's book 'my Golfing Life' in blue-black ink of the 1902 Open Championship winner Alex 'Sandy' Herd dedicated 'To My Daughter with love from her Father. Herd has added 'Open Golf Champion 1902 and Winner News of the World 1906 & 1926'.
