Mostly self-taught, my early career was spent developing a distinct style of Pop Surrealism for the international poster and merchandise markets, alongside producing book cover illustration and murals. My passion for the natural world and landscape painting eventually took over, and this has grown to include portraits and especially still lifes which I paint from life. Select Exhibitions/Awards I was a finalist in the prestigious 2018 Columbia Threadneedle Prize, received an Alfred Daniels Award from The Royal Society of British Artists 300th Exhibition, and an Arcadia Contemporary Award from the 12th International ARC Salon. In 2019 I was very moved to win first prize for a portrait of my late daughter Megan (2001-2021) in the biennial RBSA Portrait Prize Exhibition.
