Album containing an exceptionally fine collection of visiting cards by composers, performers, musicologists, publishers, and promoters, evidently collected by members of the Kufferath and Speyer families, including the cards of Hector Berlioz (two, both autograph, from the Hôtel du Cygne), Dr Robert Schumann (inscribed), Richard, Cosima and Siegfried Wagner Mendelssohn, Brahms (two, inscribed), Niccolo Paganini (on pink embossed card: 'Le Baron N. Paganini Commandeur et Chevalier de plusieurs Ordres'), Richard Strauss (inscribed), Max Bruch (inscribed), Englebert Humperdink, Edward Elgar (three, inscribed), Percy Grainger, W.S. Gilbert, Clara Schumann, Joseph Joachim, Jenny Lind, Pablo Casals (inscribed), Pauline Viardot (inscribed), Sterndale Bennett Gasparo Spontini, Vieuxtemps, Julius Rietz, Otto Jahn, Emila Scaria, J.B.
