Knudsen imprint to lower edges or corners of images, the photographs mostly 160 x 217mm, the watercolours various sizes, the largest 175 x 250mm pasted down to 21 stiff card leaves. Knud Knudsen (1832-1915) was one of Norway's first professional photographers, during his photography career 1862-1900 his work included and documented Norwegian history and ethnology. (1)
