After Simone Cantarini PORTRAIT OF GUIDO RENI (1575–1642) oil on card laid on pine panel, unframed The present work is a copy after Simone Cantarini's portrait of Guido Reni of ' circa ' 1635–36, today in the Pinacoteca Nazionale, Bologna (inv. no. 340). 1 Cantarini entered Reni's studio in 1635, and became one of his most eminent pupils.
