After John Constable (1776-1837) by David Lucas (1802-1881) Various Subjects of Landscape, Characteristic of English Scenery (Wedmore 1, 3, 5, 7-14, 16-22) eighteen mezzotints with etching, roulette and drypoint, very good impressions of the published states, many with additional work in India ink and white chalk, on laid paper, from the set of 22, published by Constable, London, 1930, with title, introduction, text and table of contents (the text pages on wove paper), all bearing the initials "JC" in pencil, with wide margins, loose, binding holes along the right margin (where previously bound), some with light foxing and discoloration, sixteen framed (W. 1 & 22 and the text pages unframed), all apparently in good condition, most not examined out of frames (18)
