Signed "Henri Matisse" in pencil and numbered "674" in ink on the colophon (included with the lot). Plate sizes to 11 x 8 1/2 in., unmatted, unframed. Condition: Sheets with deckled left edges, toning, rippling, scattered handling creases and staining, tears to some sheets. N.B. The colophon, eight facsimile drawings, and a copy of a letter from George Macy, Director of The Limited Editions Club, regarding the absence of James Joyce's signature on the colophon, accompany the lot.
