Adolf Hitler Dedication ‘Wilhelm Busch Sämtliche Werke I’ Book with a personal dedication to Gerdy Troost by Adolf Hitler, inscribed ‘Frau Prof Gerdy Troost in friendship and admiration, Adolf Hitler, Headquarters (Berlin) 13 Sept 1944’, by Braun and Schneider 1943, bound in tanned leather, with a copy of an original letter translating from Professor Gerdy Troost to Dr. Picker in whom she gave the book and explained she had been ‘given the book for Christmas as a parting gift by Adolf Hitler’, the book is in good condition, with minor marks to cover, pages are good, illustrated. Note: Prof. Gerdy Troost was a German Architect and an architectural adviser to Hitler's circle up to the end of the war. In 1943 she received from Hitler an endowment of 100,000 Reichsmarks and supervised the construction of Haus der Kunst, the remodeling of Königsplatz and the construction of the Ehrentempels.
