FIRST EDITION of this compilation of various histories of the wars against the Turks, based mainly on Jörg von Nürnberg's Geschichte von den Türcken . The book contains also a three-page poem on the fall of Rhodes. The author, who wrote and translated a number of works, was the town physician of Schaffhausen; he dedicates this volume to Herrn Petermann Erterlin, Gerichtsschreiber zu Lutzern.
