Serial no. 2400 for 1874, .44 caliber. 20 inch barrel with full magazine. Frame with second style dust cover having 5/8 inch checkered oval. No saddle ring, the mount holes filled. Un-pinned trigger. Early style lever latch. Walnut stock and fore-end. Butt trap with sectional cleaning rod. With Winchester factory letter stating shipment in October of 1874. Condition: Fair to good. Grey metal has been cleaned and shows areas of light pitting overall. Barrel markings very worn. Sound wood with very rough surface. See Illustration
