Well hollowed through a small mouth and finely carved in the shape of an eggplant with its vines and leaves and a squirrel and bat in light relief. The russet veins in the white stone well used to highlight certain areas of the design. Provenance: From a private collection, London, England, acquired prior to 2000. Condition: Excellent condition with only few microscopic nibbles and fine, natural patina. Stopper: Carved malachite in the shape of a branch Weight: 47.4 grams excluding stopper Dimensions: Height including stopper 70 mm. Diameter mouth 5 mm.
