Bought Metsovo together with black apron EE-86, 2000; and an old Vlach womanÆs black wool apron, with crocheted edge and black brocading, 67cm x 57cm, (EE-86). Worn by older women or those in mourning; and a Vlach womanÆs black wool apron, embroidered with naturalistic flowers in cotton and silk, 42cm x 47cm at widest points, (EE-87). æMost women wear aprons with woven patterns and as far as I could find out the embroidered ones were for festive occasions.Æ Bought Metsovo, 2000.
