A VIENNESE SILVER-GILT AND "JEWEL"-MOUNTED ROCK CRYSTAL bird-form covered tazza, Late 19th Century in the form of a crane etched with feathers, it's head with serpent wraped beak and with cabochon ruby eyes, detachable cover topped with a Triton and fitted into a silver-gilt mount chased with lattice, strapwork and folaige and set with alternating cabochon stones, the body etched with Tritons and mermaids amongst scrolls, all on a domed base with matching silver-gilt and jewel-mounted border cant find a mark!! height 12in. 30.5cm
