A VICTORIAN JEWELLED GOLD AND ENAMEL BANGLE BY CARLO GIULIANO The triple openwork band set with pearls alternating with rectangular-cut gemstones identified along one side as 'sapphire, chalcedony, emerald, sardonyx, sard, chrysolite, beryl, topaz, chrysoprase, jacinth, amethyst', the mount with dotted black and white detail and foliate sprays, with safety chain, signed with initials C.G., circa 1880, in original fitted tooled red leather case with retailer's address 115 Piccadilly, the base with case-maker's initial G for Guichard Signed by Carlo Giuliano Cf. G. Munn, Castellani and Giuliano, 1984 pls. 141 and 142 for a similar bracelet with caption explaining that the stones and pearls are the same as mentioned in the Book of Revelations, chapter 21, verses 19-21 and pl.175 where the author mentions that Giuliano employed specialist case-makers of which the best was Guichard
