A very large early 19th century serving spoon with a pricked and bright cut stem, initialled, the bowl shaped like a goose egg , struck with two marks, 'JH' [script] in an oval and 'IH' in a rectangle, unascribed probably Scandinavian/Baltic, 16in (41cm) long, 6oz.
