A Two-Case Lacquer Inro** Edo period (18th-19th century), signed Kajitoshi saku The small inro designed with a scene of a picnic beneath cherry blossoms in gold, silver, red, brown and black hiramaki-e with highlights of gold foil and kirigane on a roiro-nuri ground, the distant hills rendered in gold togidashi , the reverse with a seated hunter eyeing a stag in the distance, the bottom case dusted with kinpun , interiors nashiji ; fitted with an amber bead ojime and an ivory manju netsuke with masks in gold, silver, red and black lacquer 2¾in. (7cm.) long
